Data protection and information security are the foundation of stable and successful customer relationships for HTR GmbH (hereinafter referred to as “HTR”) and are a top priority within the company.
The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to disclose what data is processed through this website and how that data is handled. When handling personal data, HTR complies with all provisions of the Data Protection Act and the Telecommunications Act, as currently in force. Furthermore, HTR has implemented the technical and organizational measures necessary to ensure adequate data protection within its own area of responsibility. HTR is committed to complying with the provisions of the Data Protection Act; however, it is not liable if third parties—despite all security measures—nevertheless succeed in gaining access to data and information by unlawful means.

 

 

Processing of Personal Data

 

Your personal data will be processed only for the specified purpose or to handle the requests you have submitted. Furthermore, your personal data will be stored only for as long as is necessary to achieve the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention periods. To the extent that consent is required for the lawful processing of your data, we will obtain your express consent prior to processing. By giving your consent, you confirm that you are at least 14 years of age or that you have the consent of your legal representative.

 

 

Data Logging

 

When you visit our website, certain data is automatically stored on our servers for system administration, statistical, or backup purposes:

• Browser type and version
• Model name of the cell phone and a generic device identifier
• Operating system used
• Website from which the uservisitedwww.htr.at (referrer URL)
• Website that the user visits
• Date and time of access
• IP address of the user's computer

This data is stored separately from any contact information that may have been provided (in particular, title, first and last name, and email address) for the duration of the visit to the website and is analyzed for statistical purposes in order tooptimizethe content onwww.htr.at.

 

 

Cookies

 

To ensure that you can use the HTR website without restriction, we use so-called “cookies.” Cookies are small text files that enable us to recognize you and analyze your use of our website. A randomly generated unique identification number is stored in these text files. A cookie also contains information about its origin and how long it will be stored. These cookies cannot store any other data. Setting session cookies does not allow us to view files on your computer.
The cookies set by HTR pose no risk to the user’s computer system, as they cause no damage and do not contain viruses or similar threats. Furthermore, no personal data is collected via cookies.
The use of cookies can be prevented by adjusting your browser settings accordingly. If your browser supports the “Do Not Track” feature and you have enabled it, no usage profile will be created based on your visit. However, please note that this website may not be fully functional without cookies.

 

Cookiebot

 

We use the consent management service Cookiebot, provided by Usercentrics A/S, Havnegade 39, 1058 Copenhagen, Denmark (Usercentrics). This enables us to obtain and manage website users’ consent to data processing. The processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation (Art. 7(1) GDPR) to which we are subject (Art. 6(1), first sentence, lit. c GDPR). For this purpose, the following data is processed using cookies:

Your IP address (the last three digits are set to '0'). Date and time of consent. Browser information URL from which the consent was sent. An anonymous, random and encrypted key Your consent status of the end user, as proof of consent

The key and consent status are stored in the browser for 12 months using the "CookieConsent" cookie. This means that your cookie preference is retained for subsequent page requests. With the help of the key, your consent can be verified and tracked.

If you enable the "bulk consent" service feature to enable consent for multiple websites through a single end-user consent, the service will additionally store a separate, random, unique ID with your consent. If all of the following criteria are met, this key is stored in the third-party cookie "CookieConsentBulkTicket" in your browser in encrypted form: You activate the bulk consent function in the service configuration. You allow third-party cookies via browser settings. You have deactivated "Do not track" via the browser settings. You accept all or at least certain types of cookies when you give your consent.

The functionality of the website is not guaranteed without the processing.

Usercentrics is the recipient of your personal data and acts as a processor for us.

Your personal data will be deleted on an ongoing basis after 12 months or immediately after termination of the contract between us and Usercentrics.

Matomo

 

This website uses the open-source web analytics service Matomo. Matomo enables us to collect and analyze data about how visitors use our website. This allows us, among other things, to determine when specific pages were viewed and which region the visitors are from. In addition, we collect various log files (e.g., IP address, referrer, browsers and operating systems used) and can measure whether our website visitors perform certain actions (e.g., clicks, purchases, etc.). The use of this analytics tool is based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior in order to optimize both its website and its advertising. If consent has been obtained, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR and Section 25(1) of the TTDSG, insofar as the consent covers the storage of cookies or access to information on the user’s device (e.g., device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TTDSG. Consent may be revoked at any time. IP Anonymization We use IP anonymization when analyzing data with Matomo. This involves truncating your IP address prior to analysis so that it can no longer be uniquely associated with you. Cookie-Free Analysis We have configured Matomo so that it does not store any cookies in your browser. Hosting We host Matomo exclusively on our own servers, ensuring that all analytics data remains with us and is not shared with third parties.

 

 

Use of Google Analytics

 

We use Google Analytics to analyze website usage. The data collected is used to optimize our website and our advertising efforts. 

Google Analytics is provided to us by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google processes website usage data on our behalf and is contractually obligated to take measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of the processed data.

During your visit to our website, the following data, among other things, is recorded:

• Pages accessed
• The achievement of "website goals" (e.g. contact requests and newsletter registrations)
• Your behavior on the pages (e.g. length of stay, clicks, scrolling behavior)
• Your approximate location (country and city)
• Your IP address (in abbreviated form, so that no clear assignment is possible)
• Technical information such as browser, internet provider, end device and screen resolution
• Source of origin of your visit (i.e. via which website or advertising medium you came to us)

Personal data such as name, address or contact details are never transmitted to Google Analytics.

This data is transferred to Google servers in the USA. We would like to point out that the same level of protection under data protection law cannot be guaranteed in the USA as within the EU. 

Google Analytics stores cookies in your web browser for a period of two years since your last visit. These cookies contain a randomly generated user ID with which you can be recognized on future visits to the website.

The recorded data is stored together with the randomly generated user ID, which enables the evaluation of pseudonymous user profiles. This user-related data is automatically deleted after 14 months. Other data remains stored in aggregated form indefinitely.

If you do not agree to the collection of data, you can prevent this by installing the browser add-on to deactivate Google Analytics or by rejecting cookies via our cookie settings dialog (Cookiebot).

 

 

Newsletter Information

 

If you would like to subscribe to the newsletter offered on the website, we need your email address as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the provided email address and that you consent to receiving the newsletter. No other data is collected, or is collected only on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively to send you the requested information and do not share it with third parties. The processing of the data entered in the newsletter subscription form is based solely on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may revoke your consent to the storage of your data and email address, as well as their use for sending the newsletter, at any time—for example, via the “Unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The lawfulness of data processing operations that have already taken place remains unaffected by this revocation. The data you have provided to us for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by us or the newsletter service provider until you unsubscribe from the newsletter, and will be deleted from the newsletter distribution list after you unsubscribe or once the purpose for which it was collected no longer applies. We reserve the right to delete or block email addresses from our newsletter distribution list at our sole discretion within the scope of our legitimate interest pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Data stored by us for other purposes remains unaffected by this. After you unsubscribe from the newsletter distribution list, your email address may be stored by us or the newsletter service provider on a blacklist, if necessary, to prevent future mailings. The data from the blacklist is used solely for this purpose and is not combined with other data. This serves both your interest and our interest in complying with legal requirements when sending newsletters (legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR). There is no time limit on storage in the blacklist. You may object to this storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interest.

 

 

Embedded YouTube Videos

 

We embed YouTube videos on our website. The operator of the corresponding plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA (hereinafter “YouTube”). YouTube, LLC is a subsidiary of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter “Google”). When you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection is established to YouTube’s servers. In the process, YouTube is informed which pages you visit. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can associate your browsing behavior with you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand.

When a YouTube video is played, the provider uses cookies to collect information about user behavior.

SSL or TLS encryption 

 

This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential information, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser’s address bar changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the padlock icon in your browser’s address bar. When SSL or TLS encryption is enabled, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Contact form

You can contact us via email and/or through a contact form. In this case, the information you provide (name, company, address, ZIP code/city, country, phone number, email address) will be stored for the purpose of processing your inquiry. This information will not be shared with third parties. 

 

Inquiries by email, phone, or fax 

 

If you contact us by email, phone, or fax, your inquiry—including all personal data contained therein (name, inquiry)—will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We will not disclose this data without your consent. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of inquiries directed to us (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) or on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR), provided that such consent was requested; you may revoke your consent at any time. The data you send us via contact requests will remain with us until you request its deletion, revoke your consent to its storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g., after your request has been fully processed). Mandatory legal provisions—in particular statutory retention periods—remain unaffected.

Application: Information on data processing

 

Privacy Policy Regarding Your Online Application
The protection of your personal data is of particular importance to us. Therefore, we would like to inform you about our privacy policy. We process your personal data in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

 

Registration Information
To apply online, you must create a profile. This requires you to provide personal information (first name, last name, gender, street, house number, ZIP code, city, country, email address, phone number). If your application is submitted via email or in person, the Human Resources department will create your profile for you.

 

Purpose
: Your personal data will be shared and processed solely for job application purposes.

 

Data Recipient

By activating your profile (submitting your application), you consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR) to your personal data being accessed by employees of our Human Resources department and the relevant functional departments involved in filling the respective position. All employees are obligated to treat your data with the utmost confidentiality. If you are hired, your data will be transferred to HTR GmbH’s human resources management system and processed there.

 

Data Retention Period Where necessary, data processing may extend beyond the actual performance of the contract as part of a balancing of interests to protect our legitimate interests or those of third parties. To protect our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), we store your application data to keep your documents on file and to notify you of suitable positions.

 

Retention period 

 

Unless a more specific retention period is stated in this Privacy Policy, we will retain your personal data until the purpose for which it was collected no longer applies. If you submit a valid request for erasure or revoke your consent to data processing, your data will be erased unless we have other legally permissible grounds for storing your personal data (e.g., retention periods under tax or commercial law); in the latter case, the data will be erased once these grounds no longer apply.

 

 

Data Protection Rights and Withdrawal

 

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your stored data, as well as the right to object and the right to withdraw your consent.

You may revoke this consent at any time by sending an email to dsgvo@htr.at. Once consent is revoked, your personal data will be deleted immediately and permanently. Revoking your consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out on the basis of your consent prior to the revocation.

This does not affect your right to file a complaint with the relevant data protection authority, e.g., by email to dsb@dsb.gv.at.

 

 

 

Your Rights

 

You have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, withdrawal of consent, and objection. The right to erasure is limited only to the extent that we may suspend erasure due to statutory retention periods and/or to safeguard our legal claims. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data protection rights have otherwise been infringed, you may file a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority.
